When Do Volunteers Help?

Most volunteers serve during the school day. There are some opportunities to bring projects home and work on them at your leisure. Additionally, volunteers are frequently called upon to prepare foods for staff or donate supplies.

How Do I Get Started?

STEP 1: Fill out the interest form. Complete the ONLINE INTEREST FORM , or complete and return a paper copy to the front office.

STEP 2: A BACKGROUND CHECK is required for all volunteers. We take our children's safety very seriously at Brill. Access the criminal background check HERE . We will not know if your background check has been processed unless you have signed up as a volunteer.

STEP 3: Register in CERVIS (Community Event Registration & Volunteer Information System). EVERONE MUST REGISTER &/OR UPDATE THEIR PROFILE! You might already be in CERVIS through your elementary or high school, but you must log in and add/choose "BRILL" under "VOLUNTEER GROUPS".

If you already have a profile in CERVIS, please go to the LOG IN PAGE HERE . Log in (you may need to create a new password, just follow the instructions), then under "Profile Management" click "View/Update members of my Volunteer profile" and complete all the profile information.

If you are new to CERVIS, please go to VOLUNTEER SIGN UP . Please read this page thoroughly, then look down at item #7 and find where it says "Click Here" to create your Volunteer Profile.
